Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home
new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. Fostering a love of
independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:
Mar-21st online purchasing opens
Mar 24-28 In-person begins (Students can shop during their Library class times)
Tuesday March 25th (Donuts with Dad) -Morning eventParents are able to shop at the book fair before or after the event:8am-
11am
-Thursday March 27 th : evening event/hours- in which parents will be able to come and shop at the bookfair with their children from
4:00pm-6:30pm**
Friday March 28th- Fair will be open from [8am-2pm] for all staff, parents, and students who would like to shop the fair.
Parents can also shop with their children, if they are having lunch with their child during their scheduled lunch days
Please see front office/or classroom teacher for those specific lunch times

While you’re there, set up a Book Fair e Wallet, the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then
share your e Wallet link so friends and extended family can add funds.
When you fund an e Wallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called
Share the Fair™. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books
from the Fair.
Many of us still remember the rush of finding the perfect book at a Scholastic Book Fair. I hope you’ll join your child at our school’s Fair and

¡Prepárense! La Feria del Libro de Scholastic está llegando a nuestra escuela. Esta es una

Aquí encontrará todo lo que necesita saber sobre la Feria del Libro:
Se abren las compras en línea el 21 de marzo
Del 24 al 28 de marzo Comienza lo presencial (los estudiantes pueden comprar durante el horario de clases de la biblioteca)
Martes 25 de marzo (Donuts con papá): evento matutinoLos padres pueden comprar en la feria del libro antes o después del evento: de 8 a. m. a 11 a. m.
-Jueves 27 de marzo: evento/horario nocturno- en el que los padres podrán venir a comprar a la feria del libro con sus hijos de 4:00pm a 6:30pm**
Viernes 28 de marzo: la feria estará abierta de [8 am a 2 pm] para todo el personal, padres y estudiantes que deseen comprar en la feria.
Los padres también pueden comprar con sus hijos, si almuerzan con ellos durante los días de almuerzo programados
Por favor, consulte con la oficina principal o con el maestro del salón de clases para conocer esos horarios específicos del almuerzo

Una vez que hayan accedido a la página, configuren una eWallet para la Feria del Libro, la cuenta de pago digital que permite a su niño o niña comprar libros en
la feria sin usar dinero en efectivo. Luego, compartan el enlace de su eWallet de modo que amigos y familiares puedan aportar fondos.
Al hacer aportes a una eWallet, tienen la oportunidad de contribuir a una iniciativa solidaria llamada Share the Fair ™ (Comparte la feria). Sus aportes colaboran
de manera direct a con los estudiantes que necesitan ayuda para adquirir libros de la Feria.
