Welcome back to another exciting year at Hirsch Elementary! I hope you and your family had a fantastic summer and are ready for the new school year. I am thrilled to introduce our theme for this year: "Unstoppable Heroes: Empowering Every Student to Soar."
At Hirsch Elementary, we believe that each child is a hero with unique super powers waiting to be discovered and shared with the world. This year, we will focus on uncovering and nurturing these amazing gifts in our students. Whether it’s through reading, writing, math, being a good citizen, showing kindness, excelling in music, or discovering new talents, we want each student to realize that their super powers are limitless.
We are also excited to introduce our book for the year, "Unstoppable Me!" by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer with Kristina Tracy. This inspiring book will guide us in helping our students understand and embrace their unique strengths.
Your support and involvement are crucial to your child's success. Throughout the school year, you will see your child have many opportunities to explore and develop their gifts, revealing new strengths and abilities along the way. I am so proud of each student and look forward to witnessing the incredible things they will accomplish.
Please mark your calendars for our Meet the Teacher event on Friday, August 9 at 3:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to get to know your child's teachers and learn about what’s in store for the year ahead. And don’t forget, the first day of school is on Wednesday, August 14. We are all excited to welcome your children back and start this amazing journey together.
